Scholarships for Students that lost Parents in the line of Duty

  • Children of Fallen Heros Scholarship Act: On March 23, 2018 the President authorized the Children of Fallen Heroes Scholarship Act for students eligible for Pell grant whose parent or guardian died in the line of duty as a public safety officer. For more specific eligibility criteria and information you can read the announcement here. If you feel you may be eligible please email finaid@bethel for more information.
  • Public Safety Officer's Survivor Grant: Provides educational benefits to dependent children and the surviving spouse of a public safety officer killed in the line of duty on or after January 1, 1973. For eligibility information please visit https://www.ohe.state.mn.us/mPg.cfm?pageID=145
