At Bethel Seminary, we've created programs that work for busy seminary students. We understand that students are at different phases of life that present challenges within their schedules. Our commitment is to provide you with options to meet your demands.

With that in mind, our programs are available through daytime classes, evening classes, or online courses. Choose an academic program for details on the face-to-face or online program options available for your degree.

Our students pursue their degree along with their cohort—a group of seminary peers in the same program. We offer fully online programs as well as online programs with intensives. Students in online programs with intensives work on assignments, interact with faculty, engage in online discussion, and encourage each other all from a distance. Then, twice a year, they meet together on campus for 1 week of intensive classes.

Face to Face

We give you the option to earn many of our seminary degrees through our residential programs. In these programs, you'll take classes face-to-face at our St. Paul or San Diego campus.

St. Paul

In residential programs at our St. Paul location, you'll come to campus regularly for classes, research, events, and other activities. We offer flexible program options with traditional daytime and evening options to fit your busy schedule.

Daytime Option: Most of your classes will take place during the day. We also offer some evening courses each semester for students who face other daytime commitments.

Evening Option: For students who need to take their classes in the evening, we offer full-time programs through SemPM. Our SemPM programs allow you to register once for a scheduled series of classes you'll attend 1 night each week. We also offer a few SemPM courses online.

San Diego

We've designed the residential programs at our San Diego location to allow you to balance seminary with commitments at church, home, and in the community. You'll attend weekly classes on campus in the late afternoon and evening.
