Why I love Edgren

I'm one of the biggest fans of Edgren Hall—only second to Bethel's founder, John Alexis Edgren himself! When alumni reminisce about their favorite memories at Bethel, many of those memories occurred within the walls of Edgren. The floors are marked by years of tradition, and the shared lobby spaces are consistently filled with people who are down to have fun. Edgren is a great place to meet people and build lasting friendships.

Best Thing About My Job

The first year of college is one of the most formative years in a student's life, and I get to be a part of that! I see this role as a ministry through which I am invited to join in the work that God is already doing in the lives of Edgren residents and student leaders. I get the privilege to be present in the midst of students' most vulnerable moments, and I also get to celebrate the fun times alongside them.

Number One Reason to Live on Campus

Something is always happening on campus that you don't want to miss! Even when there isn't an event being hosted by Student Activities, memories are being made in the academic buildings, residence halls, and the broomball rink.

Favorite Bethel Tradition

My friends and I would go all-out for the Easter Egg Hunt in the spring. We would print out a map of campus and do some serious research for the gold, silver, and bronze egg clues. In the span of four years, we found ten of the twelve hidden eggs.
