Hall Opening and Closing Dates

Fall 2026

Move-in times

All returning students must check-in and pick up their room keys in their residence hall.

• Arden Village and Lissner returning students:
  • Friday, August 28 from 8-11:30 a.m.
• Heritage and North Village returning students:
  • Saturday, August 29 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Sunday, August 30 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Residence halls close for Christmas Break at noon on Saturday, December 19.

Early move-in

Returning students who have permission to move-in early (i.e. fall athletes, student leaders, etc.) must follow central check-in processes on their assigned date.

Roommates of these students are not permitted to move in early unless they are also approved for early arrival. It is each student's responsibility to communicate this to their roommates.

A fine of $50 per day will be charged to anyone who moves in before their assigned date as well as to the student who lets in an unapproved resident.
