We want to do whatever we can to give you a smooth transition into Bethel housing. Check out your options for transfer student housing. If you have questions along the way, let us know how we can help.
Transfer Student Room Draw
Transfer students are placed in rooms on June 22. No action is needed by the student. Please contact the Housing Specialist as soon as possible if you want to request a specific room or roommate.
Getting Matched with Roommates
Most transfer students don't know who they're living with when they sign up for housing. If that's you, no sweat.
Sign up for housing during New Student Room Draw and you'll get paired up with some great Bethel students looking for a roommate.
Living with Current Bethel Students
Some transfer students already know who they want to live with at Bethel. If that's you, start by completing the new student housing application by February 23 at 1 p.m.
You will not have the option to submit roommate requests directly on the housing application. Once your housing application has been completed, contact the Office of Residence Life at 651.638.6300. The housing coordinator will make the necessary adjustments for you to be able to participate in the room draw with returning students.
Frequently Asked Questions
I have a friend that is transferring to Bethel this fall. Can I choose him/her as a roommate?
Yes. The student must be accepted and fee-paid with the Admissions Office and complete a housing application by the deadline. The student is responsible to review the information and meet all posted deadlines.
I am a recent transfer student. Will my room draw number be affected by this?
Transfer students will be assigned room draw numbers based on the current housing location. Example: If you're currently living in a sophomore, second year in housing location, you'll be part of the random assignment of third-year students.
