Move-in for J29 scholars and Royal Bridge students in housing, by residence hall and by floor: We'll be ready to welcome you at your scheduled move-in time.

Your move-in time is when you should arrive on campus. It is based on your residence hall and floor. Please do not arrive ahead of your move-in time!

Before you arrive, please label all boxes, bins, and bags with your name, residence hall, and room number.

Nelson

  • All floors: 9-9:45 a.m.

Bodien and Edgren

  • Fourth floor: 10:15-10:45 a.m.
  • Third floor: 10:45-11:15 a.m.
  • Second floor: 11:15-11:45 a.m.
  • First floor: 10:15-10:45 a.m.

Lissner, Heritage, Arden Village, and North Village:

  • All floors: 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Please enter campus via the west entrance. An enthusiastic student team will be on hand to help!

10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Info Central: Please stop here to get important check-in materials and your ID card. This is also the place to get answers and directions. Your family will check in too!

Lunch: Enjoy lunch with our group. Your family may purchase lunch in the dining center for $14.40 per person (siblings under five are free). If you're on a meal plan, swipe your ID card.

Monson Dining Center—Brushaber Commons (BC) Level 3

Come find us on the upper level after you grab your lunch!

1-2:15 p.m.

Info Central: We will go as a group to Info Central with those who haven’t done this yet.

Brushaber Commons (BC) Level 2

2:30-4 p.m.

J29 Scholar Reception: J29 scholars, please join us for a special reception honoring our scholarship recipients and their families during Move-In Day. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow scholars, connect with the staff who will support you throughout the year, and begin building the relationships that will make your Bethel experience meaningful. We look forward to welcoming you to campus!

Clausen Center (CC) 311

2:30-5 p.m.

New student employees: Please go to that training instead, at 2-5:30 p.m., in the Underground in Brushaber Commons (BC) Level 2.

5:15-6:45 p.m.

Dinner: Enjoy dinner with your family on or off campus, or connect with other new students and families. Your family may purchase dinner in the dining center for $14.40 per person (siblings under five are free). If you're on a meal plan, swipe your ID card or notify the cashier you are a new student employee.

Monson Dining Center—Brushaber Commons (BC) Level 3

6:45-8 p.m.

Free time: Settle into your room, if needed.

Family goodbye for the night.

8-9 p.m.

Early-arrival event: This event is for new transfer students, student employees, Royal Bridge, J29 scholars, and students in the BUILD program. Join us for a carnival-themed hangout at the circle on Freshman Hill.

Thursday, August 27

7-8:30 a.m.

Breakfast: Enjoy breakfast on or off campus. Your family may purchase breakfast in the dining center for $14.40 per person (siblings under five are free). If you're on a meal plan, swipe your ID card.

9:30-11:30 a.m.

Orientation: Meet alumni, people from the Office of Career Development and Calling, and other student support services.

The Studio—Brushaber Commons (BC) Level 2 

11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Lunch: Enjoy lunch on or off campus.  If you're on a meal plan, swipe your ID card. Your family may purchase lunch in the dining center for $14.40 per person (siblings under five are free).
