Recreation and opportunities

Stay active with simple workouts in the Wellness Center and around campus.

Outdoor trails

Beautiful trails wind through and around the perimeter of Bethel’s campus, running along Lake Valentine and passing through oak savannah, wetlands, upland oak-maple forest, and a tall grass prairie. The trails also connect with numerous community trails and sidewalks near Bethel’s west entrance, making it easy to extend your walk, run, or ride beyond campus.

Disc golf course

Bethel’s trails and 247 acres of wooded, lakeside campus also feature one of the top college 18-hole disc golf courses in the country.

Indoor walking routes

Find walking routes leading through Bethel’s academic building to get your steps even in the peak of winter.

Intramural and club sports

Intramural and club sports provide opportunities to stay active, enjoy competition, and connect with others.
