Bethel University’s nurse-midwifery program consists of 57 total credits and offers two options for plans of study (pdf):

  • Full-time is a two-year, four semester master’s program. Students begin their clinical experience during their second semester with primary care and antepartum clinicals.  In their third semester students participate in intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care clinicals, followed by a full-scope integration clinical in their fourth, and final, semester.
  • Part-time is a three-year, six semester master’s program. Students begin their clinical experience during their fourth semester with primary care and antepartum clinicals. In their fifth semester students participate in intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care clinicals, followed by a full-scope integration clinical in their sixth, and final semester.
