What an individual can expect in their meeting with the Office of People and Culture

After you submit a report, someone in the Office of People and Culture will reach out to schedule a meeting with you.

Wondering what that meeting will look like? Here's what you can expect:

You'll hear more about the purpose of the meeting.  

  • People and Culture staff will provide any immediate first steps to ensure you feel safe.
  • You'll learn about options for next steps. 
  • This meeting will be largely informative; you won't be required to make any decisions at this meeting. 

You'll hear more about who Cara Kuhn is and what her role is in the process.

You'll have the opportunity to share what you experienced, to the degree that you feel comfortable. 

You'll be provided with the following:

  • A copy of the policy in question
  • Assistance with reporting to law enforcement as applicable
  • Information about how to preserve evidence
  • Information regarding available support services
  • Supportive or interim measures options
  • Information about your rights under the law
  • Options for next steps
  • Timeline for next steps

After the meeting, you'll receive a follow-up email with the information covered at the meeting.
