Give to the United Way

Colleagues:

We are in a season of change at Bethel. Some days are more difficult than others, but the one part about our community that continues to lift my spirits is our students. Every day, Bethel students provide Barb and me with inspiration and blessings, through their academic success, athletic achievements, and the ways they give back to our community.

Bethel students volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities, CommonBond Communities, Model Cities of St. Paul, Inc., and Prepare + Prosper—all four are partner agencies with the United Way. As faculty and staff, we can support these organizations where our students serve through a donation to the annual United Way campaign.

Greater Twin Cities United Way is a nonprofit organization that strives to strengthen communities by “bringing people together to help our community reach its full potential.” They work to build pathways out of poverty by focusing on meeting people’s basic needs as well as providing education and job training.

Our annual United Way campaign runs through Thursday, November 15. Please consider joining me in making a gift to United Way as one practical way we can impact our community to God’s glory and for our neighbors’ good.

Serving together,

Jay
