$4,000 to two incoming students

Renewal

Renewable for one additional year (total of two years). For renewal, recipients must remain a business major with a finance emphasis, make satisfactory progress towards their degree, and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30.

Eligibility

At the time of application, students must:

  • Be U.S. citizens or permanent residents
  • Be high school seniors during the 2023-2024 school year
  • Have an unweighted high school grade point average of at least 3.30 (4.0 scale)
  • ACT or SAT score required
  • Dependents of Bethel employees are not eligible for the Bethel Finance Scholarship.

Academic requirements

Scholarship recipients must enroll at Bethel in the fall of 2024, majoring in business with a finance emphasis.

January 15, 2024

Scholarship timeline

  • Apply between now and January 15, 2024.
  • On-campus or virtual interview and tour if chosen as a finalist in late January or early February.
  • Announcement of scholarship awards: March 1, 2024

How to apply

Interested students who meet the scholarship eligibility requirements will be asked to complete the following when applying for the Bethel Finance Scholarship.

First, apply to Bethel University.

Then submit the Bethel Finance Scholarship Application, which will ask for the following elements:

  1. Explain what appeals to you about Bethel’s business major with a finance emphasis.
  2. Provide the name, email address, and discipline of a teacher who would provide a letter of recommendation for you if you are selected as a finalist.
  3. Participate in an interview with faculty in the Department of Business if you are chosen as a finalist.
  4. Upload a resume.

Complete the Finance Scholarship application by the January 15, 2024 deadline.
