CAS Dates & Deadlines 2026-2027

Here are important financial aid dates and deadlines for the 2026-2027 academic year:

September 25, 2025

• Free Application for Federal Student aid (FAFSA) available for 2026-2027.

November 30, 2025

• Application deadline for round one of the Social Work Scholarship.

January 31, 2026

• Application deadline for Physics and Engineering Scholarship.

February 1, 2026

• Application deadline for the Music Performance Scholarships.
• Application deadline for the Leadership and Service Scholarship.

February 10, 2026

• Departmental Scholarship applications are due for returning students for the 2026-2027 academic year.

February 15, 2026

• Application deadline for the Actuarial Science and Finance Scholarship.

March 1, 2026

• Application deadline for Holman Chemistry Scholarships.

March 31, 2026

• Application deadline for round two of the Social Work Scholarship.

April 15, 2026

• Priority deadline for new students to apply for financial aid for the 2026-2027 academic year. (Later applications will be processed, but may receive reduced funding)

April 30, 2026

• Application deadline for the Jeremiah 29 Scholarship.

May 31, 2026

• Student employment application due for new students.

Late May, 2026

• Bethel starts sending financial aid offers for returning students.

July 1, 2026

• We recommend all families submit verification materials by July 1, prior to starting the fall term.
• Begin all loan processes by this date to ensure funds will be received in time for the beginning of fall semester.

July 15, 2026

• Enrollment opens for the optional monthly payment plan for fall semester.
• Recommended priority deadline to apply for a private loan for the 2026-27 academic year.

August 1, 2026

• Church Partnership Scholarship forms and matching funds checks due.

August 25, 2026

• Bill due for fall 2026 semester.
• Enrollment Checklist due.
• Fall deadline for monthly payment plan enrollment.

August 31, 2026

• Fall classes begin.

September 14, 2026

• The Financial Aid Office begins adjusting aid for fall 2026 for students who do not meet eligibility requirements (e.g. enrolled less than full time; and MN State Grant adjustments).

September 30, 2026

• A Checklist Fine will be assessed if Enrollment Checklist is incomplete.
• Monthly Late fees assessed to accounts with an unpaid balance.
• All questions for billing and student account fees can be directed to the Business Office.

October 25, 2026

• Last day to appeal the Enrollment Checklist fine.

December 4, 2026

• Last day to request a federal loan for fall 2026 (direct subsidized, unsubsidized, or parent PLUS).
• Last day to submit a special circumstances appeal for fall semester.

January 25, 2027

• Bill due for spring semester. Spring classes begin Thursday, January 30.
• Spring deadline for Monthly Payment Plan enrollment.
• Enrollment Checklist due for Spring 2025 semester.

January 27, 2027

• Spring classes begins.

February 10, 2027

• Departmental scholarship applications are due for returning students.

February 12, 2027

• Bethel begins adjusting aid for spring 2027 for students who do not meet eligibility requirements (e.g., enrolled less than full time; and Minnesota State Grant adjustments).

May 7, 2027

• Last day to request a federal loan for Spring 2027 (direct subsidized, unsubsidized, or parent PLUS).
• Last day to request a private loan for the 2026-27 academic year.

May 24, 2027

• Summer classes begin.

June 30, 2027

• Deadline to complete the 2026-2027 FAFSA.

August 2, 2027

• Last day to request a federal loan for summer 2027 (direct subsidized, unsubsidized, or parent PLUS).
