Social Work Scholarship

Amount

Up to $15,000 for the academic year.

Renewal

Not renewable.

Eligibility

Students must:

• be enrolled in the social work program with social work as their primary major
• be junior standing beginning fall 2026
• maintain a minimum GPA requirement of 2.25 or higher
• maintain SAP throughout the duration of the award

Academic requirements

Students must:

• be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits per semester in courses required for graduation, if enrolled for summer must be enrolled for at least 2 credits to be eligible for funding
• continue enrollment in program each semester of the award period
• be in good academic standing
• commit to practicum placement within a Minnesota school
• commit to one year of eligible employment with a Minnesota school following completion of the program

Deadline

Round one of scholarship award: November 30, 2025 by 11:59 p.m.

Round two of scholarship award: March, 31, 2026 by 11:59 p.m.
