Bethel Seminary's Work with Purpose initiative has partnered with the Made to Flourish pastor's network to offer a collegial sermon competition. Current pastors in the greater Twin Cities region are welcomed and encouraged to participate.
Are you part of the growing number of pastors and church leaders who are actively seeking to encourage their congregations in the mission of everyday work? This is a great way to connect with peers and have a bit of fun in sermon/teaching preparation as you equip the saints for mission outside the church walls.
- Encourage and inspire your congregants to see their ordinary work as a place of extraordinary discipleship, stewardship of gifts, and service to the world
- All eligible participants receive a $100 honorarium, along with a $50 stipend toward supporting resources
- A juried panel will select one sermon/teaching to receive a $500 award
Registration closes on June 15, 2016. Sermons/teachings must be delivered by December 31, 2016.
