Engage in an eye-opening experience to learn about poverty in the United States.

March 12-20, 2021 (could vary slightly)
Location
In McDowell County, West Virginia, students will serve those living in poverty within the United States. Due to limited jobs and a remote location, the Appalachian region experiences some of the greatest levels of poverty in the nation.
Our Ministry Partner
Ignite Hope’s mission is to IGNITE HOPE by helping to lay the groundwork for healthy groups of Jesus-followers within the community through redemptive relationships, Bible study groups, and discipleship groups.
What is this trip’s focus?
- Building relationships
- Care for people living in poverty
- Prayer walks
- Manual labor/acts of service as a bridge-building endeavor on behalf of the Bertrams
Trip Cost
This team of 10 students has a team fundraising goal of $7,500. Fundraising will be a major part of the year for this team, which will tremendously help the financial bottom line!
