Back in August, a survey was sent out asking for your feedback regarding Staff Appreciation Day 2020 given the constraints that COVID-19 presented. In your responses, the gift of time was a clear theme. This suggestion was affirmed by the Staff Council. In response to your feedback, Cabinet has provided an extra day off in lieu of our typical Staff Appreciation Day and in thanks to all of the hard work and dedication that has gone into preparing for an unprecedented yet successful Fall launch.
During fall semester, all staff employees are invited to take a day off of their choosing. Non-exempt (hourly) employees should report this time as regular hours worked. Exempt (salaried) employees do not need to report anything.
