I oversee and provide vision to the department of athletics—18 sports programs, about 600 student-athletes, and many coaches.

Reasons I Love My Job

I absolutely love seeing the impact our coaches have on our student-athletes and the impact our student-athletes have on each other. One of my favorite things in my job is walking the halls and seeing students hanging out in coaches offices. I also passionately believe that excellence is biblical—when we are excellent at what we do, we have greater opportunities for Kingdom impact.

In My Free Time

I love hanging out with my family—dinners together are incredibly meaningful. I obviously love athletics because of my role, but also love the outdoors, particularly downhill skiing, golfing with my kids, and running. I would pick mountains over the beach and pretty much any bucket-list item involves mountains and going fast.

Maybe not a true "tradition" but when our teams compete for championships, I love how our students come out in full force to cheer for them!
