My Role at Bethel

Associate Dean of Campus Engagment

Why You'd Contact Me

Welcome Week, Student Leadership, and Student Care and Concerns are some areas I work with. So, if your're involved as a student here, chances are that we might meet sometime during your time at Bethel - even if it's just at orientation.

Reasons I Love My Job

My personal college experience was full of people who took the time to get to know me and help me discover more about who God created me to be. I believe college is such a time of discovery: You're learning how to be in relationship, figuring out who you want to be and what you might want to do for your life's work, discovering things you're really good at and things you love. I love being part of that process for Bethel students. Sometimes that process happens when students are leading or even when they are experiencing hard things in their journey. My job allows me to be part of those moments- what a gift and opportunity! Plus, my job is just fun!

In My Free Time

I love to hang out with my handsome husband and two daughters. I love to do crafts, cook, and travel. Realistically speaking, most of the time these days my free time is spent playing play dough or dress up!

Best Bethel Tradition

I love that both the beginning of a Bethel experience and the end of it are often book ended by people cheering for you. This happens when students move in to Residence Halls during Welcome Week but also as they graduate and their faculty clap for them. This truly represents the spirit of Bethel.
