Saute Cook - Full Time

The full time saute cook will work alongside a skilled Asian cuisine chef to prepare made to order dishes through our wok stir-fry station. Our stir-fry station is part of our Monson Dining Center, which serves up to 2500 guests daily. He or she will prepare up to 100 orders per meal, and will assist in all food prep for the station, including scratch made sauces, vegetables, and proteins. In addition, this person will be part of a team responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of the station and general kitchen area. Typically, this position is Monday through Friday day time hours but may vary depending on business needs.

This position has more flexible days and hours, but will be based on lunch, dinner, and other business needs. This is a great opportunity to learn a new style of cooking to work your way into the Sodexo system or an excellent second job for someone looking for additional income.

Cold and Bakery Prep Cook - Full Time

The full time Cold Production and Bakery Prep Cook will assist our cold production and bakery teams to create our salad bar, grab & go options, catering, and desserts. He or she will work as part of a team to cook, chop, mix, and bake all of the needs of our buffet style dining center, a la carte grill, coffee shop, and catering outlets. This person must be willing to work as a flexible team member with tasks that may change daily, and will be responsible to our lead cold production cook and our lead baker. He or she will also assist in general cleaning of our kitchen areas. This position is generally Monday through Friday daytime hours, but may vary based on business needs.

Lead Dishwasher/Utilities - Full Time

The Lead Dishwasher/Utilities person is responsible for overseeing the dish room and general cleaning of all areas of our dining services, including our all you can eat Monson Dining Center, our a la carte restaurant 3900 Grill, and our coffee shop Royal Grounds. This person oversees a team of 1-3 full time and part time associates and 5-7 student employees on a given evening. He or she is responsible for the cleaning of our main dish machine along with the dish room as a whole. This position is generally evenings from about 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. but could vary based on business and catering needs.

Evening Production Cook - Full Time

The Evening Production Cook will prepare the evening traditional entree for the main campus dining center. They will also oversee the production for the kitchen, working directly with the chef and sous chef to ensure the quality and appearance of all foods produced in the kitchen. THis position is generally Monday through Friday, but may vary based on business needs.

Daytime Grill Cook - Full Time

The Grill Cook is responsible for setting up, running, and clean up of a made to order grill station running about 75-100 orders per lunch shift. This person is part of a team responsible for the overall operation of our restaurant style grill, serving mostly students and other members of the Bethel community. Generally, this person will work Monday through Friday daytime hours, but will need to be available for larger catering events evenings and weekends as business requires.

Dishwasher - Part Time

Dishwasher will help wash dishes in the back of the house.  This person may also help on serving lines or assist the hot and cold production teams as able.  Generally, this is a flexible daytime position with hours during the breakfast and lunch periods, including weekends, but this person must be able to work nights as needed based on business needs.  This is a great entry level position to learn more about the dining and hospitality industries.
