Bethel continues to offer the $500 carryover, so up to $500 from your prior year’s Healthcare Account may carry forward to reimburse healthcare expenses incurred in the new plan year (the carryover does not apply to the Dependent Care account). The carryover process will take place on January 1st of each year, and a new account will be created if you do not actively enroll for the current year. As you file claims during the run-out period, the system will track the balances for both years’ accounts and automatically transfer funds back and forth as necessary to pay from the appropriate plan year. Contact Flex Compensation, Inc. directly at 952-541-6366 or thrivepassbenefits.lh1ondemand.com.
