Earned Sick and Safe Time Employee Notice - Effective January 1, 2024
Publication Date - November 30, 2023
Effective January 1, 2024 employees in Minnesota are entitled to earned sick and safe time, a form of paid leave.
This means that student employees, temporary employees, and adjuncts will now start accruing sick and safe time. Staff will continue to have their sick time they have always had, though moving forward it will be called sick and safe time. Full Time Faculty, Cabinet, and Coaches will have sick and safe time to use when needed.
