Advising Military Students
Bethel welcomes our military students and seeks to give them excellent support. Military students can be:
- A student currently serving in the military
- A veteran
- A child of a military service member
- A student in ROTC
Bethel offers resources and services for these students through our Military and Veteran Services Office. Advisors and students can consult the Executive Director of Military and Veteran Services for support, questions, and help. The Executive Director is an expert on issues related to government regulations and procedures, benefits, juggling military and Bethel work and other issues. He is more than happy to help students navigate these situations and advisors can feel comfortable referring students to the Executive Director.
Students may bring in transfer credit related to Military Basic Training or ROTC work. This transfer work will appear on the student’s transcript (more information is available on the Registrar’s office Other Sources of Transfer Credit page).
