Ashley Thrun

Campus Engagement Coordinator

B.A. in Organizational Communication and Relational Communication, Bethel University

My Role at Bethel

I help support the campus engagement team with administrative tasks as well as event support. I also oversee The Loft and commuter programs. If you have any questions relating to Bethel Student Government events, Welcome Week, commuter events, or about The Loft and reserving spaces for events I am here to help!

Reasons I Love My Job

I think that college students are the coolest people to be working with. I love being able to challenge students with their ideas and make their dreams for campus become realities. Seeing how God uses them to make a positive impact on campus is incredibly rewarding. My coworkers in the Office of Student Life make every day in the office so enjoyable as well.

Annandale, Minnesota

In My Free Time

I love playing pickleball, hanging out with friends and playing board games, trying new restaurants, and going on walks!

Best Bethel Tradition

I can't pick just one so I'm choosing four. Welcome Week because of the excitement surrounding the new students and returning to campus. Homecoming because who doesn't love cheer night and men's dance? Late night in the Monson Dining Center because cinnamon rolls from Ross and Annie are the best way to procrastinate. And lastly, Christmas Gala because getting dressed up and going to a fancy venue with friends isn't something you get to do very often.
