Years Working in Food Services

Michele is in her 4th decade working in food services, the past 20 years with Sodexo in Universities, K-12, and Senior Living. She also has experience working in Retail with Lunds & Byerlys and Coborns, as well as large production facilities with Sparta Foods & Kraft.

Education/Training

BA in Business Management from Bethel University. She is also Serve Safe Certified, a MN Certified Food Protection Manager, and AllerTrain (Food Allergy) Certified.

What She Does at Bethel

Michele oversees a talented management team, over 90 Sodexo associates, and 160 energetic Bethel student employees. This team manages and runs the outstanding dining service venues and catering functions here at Bethel. Michele greatly values the relationship Sodexo has with Bethel University and the students it serves. She truly enjoys getting to know the students and listening to their suggestions and requests to make their dining experience more like home.

In Her Free Time

She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, music, playing disc golf, biking, landscaping and relaxing around a bonfire. Michele and her husband Craig live North of the twin cities, some might say in the country. They share two grown children and a grandson.

Favorite Food

Michele's favorite food is shrimp, as long as it is not breaded. Her table is also often filled with vegetables, wether in a salad, grilled, or stir fried!
