Here are important financial aid dates and deadlines for the 2022-2023 academic year.
October 1, 2021
- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available for 2022-2023.
December 17, 2021
- Bethel starts sending financial aid offers for new/prospective students for the upcoming school year.
February 1, 2022
- Application deadline for Music Performance Scholarships.
February 1, 2022
- Application deadline for Physics & Engineering Scholarship.
February 10, 2022
- Departmental Scholarship Applications are due for returning students.
February 11, 2022
- Application deadline for Arts & Humanities Scholarship.
March 1, 2022
- Application deadline for Chemistry Performance Scholarships.
April 15, 2022
- Priority deadline for new students to apply for financial aid for the upcoming academic year. (Later applications will be processed, but may receive reduced funding.)
Late-April, 2022
- Bethel starts sending financial aid offers for returning students.
May 15, 2022
- Student Employment Application due for new students
- Priority deadline for returning students to apply for financial aid for the upcoming academic year.
July 1, 2022
- We recommend all families submit verification materials by July 1, prior to starting the fall term.
- Begin all loan processes by this date to ensure funds will be received in time for the beginning of fall term.
July 10, 2022
- Enrollment opens for the optional monthly payment plan for fall semester.
August 1, 2022
- Partnership Scholarship forms and matching funds checks due for church scholarships.
August 25, 2022
- Bill due for fall 2022 semester. Classes begin on Monday, August 29th.
- Enrollment Checklist due.
September 13, 2022
- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) deadline for fall semester Minnesota State Grant.
- The Financial Aid Office begins adjusting aid for students who do not meet eligibility requirements (e.g., enrolled less than full time; and MN State Grant adjustments).
December 2, 2022
- Last day to request a federal loan for fall 2022 (Direct Subsidized, Unsubsidized, or PLUS).
December 22, 2022
- Enrollment opens for the optional monthly payment plan for spring semester.
January 25, 2023
- Bill due for interim and spring semester.
- Enrollment Checklist due for spring 2023 semester.
January 24, 2023
- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) deadline for spring semester Minnesota State Grant.
February 10, 2023
- Departmental Scholarship Applications are due for returning students.
February 20, 2023
- Bethel begins adjusting aid for spring 2023 for students who do not meet eligibility requirements (e.g., enrolled less than full time; and Minnesota State Grant adjustments).
March 31, 2023
- Deadline for appeals for reduced income or unusual financial conditions for the 2022-2023 academic year.
April 14, 2023
- Private loans take at least 30 dys to process so if you need a private loan for spring 2023 be sure to apply by this date.
May 12, 2023
- Last day to request a federal loan for Spring 2023 (Direct Subsidized, Unsubsidized, or PLUS).
June 30, 2023
- Deadline to complete the 2022-2023 FAFSA.
